Madrenaline Activities Ltd – Terms & Conditions
(Including Cancellation Policy, Participant Requirements, and Privacy Policy)
By booking with Madrenaline Activities Ltd, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making your booking.
1. Booking Confirmation
Once your booking is made, it is final and binding.
A confirmation email will be sent with your booking details. If booked online, your confirmation will appear on your screen (PC or mobile).
Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us immediately if there are any errors.
2. Amendments, Cancellations & Refunds
Any amendments will incur a £10 administration fee per person.
No refunds, cancellations, or changes are allowed within 14 days of your event date.
Exclusive event deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event.
Cancellations within 14 days of the event will be charged in full.
3. Participant Requirements – Segway Safari
To participate, you must:
Weigh under 18 stone (114 kg).
Be 12 years or older (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
Be at least 1.3m (4’3”) tall.
Be physically able to climb and descend stairs without assistance.
Wear full safety gear and helmet provided by Madrenaline Activities Ltd.
Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Not be pregnant.
Not suffer from high blood pressure, back, neck, knee, or leg problems, or any medical condition that could be aggravated by the activity.
Inform us of any disability or prior injury before taking part.
4. On the Day of Your Event
You must bring your booking confirmation or voucher and present it to our staff.
All participants must sign a Statement of Risk / Disclaimer before taking part.
For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the disclaimer.
Safety instructions from our staff must be followed at all times. Dangerous riding, racing, or bumping will not be tolerated.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the activity without refund.
5. Weather & Event Cancellations
We may cancel an event due to adverse weather or safety concerns.
If cancelled, you will be offered alternative dates.
Bank Holidays are charged at the full daily rate (not discounted midweek rates).
On the day of your event, you must call our Weather Check Line on 07899 684 535 before travelling.
We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs if an event is cancelled.
Any cancelled event must be rebooked within 30 days of the original date.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Arrive on the correct date and time of your booking. Late arrival may result in loss of your booking without refund.
Directions are provided in your booking confirmation email. If not received, contact us before your event.
Availability is subject to specific dates throughout the year, with morning and afternoon sessions.
7. Consumer Rights
Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose.
For vouchers, refund requests must be made within 7 working days from the original purchase date.
8. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information (name, phone number, address, email) to process your booking.
We will not share your details with third-party marketing companies.
Your details may be shared with our insurance provider or as required by law.
We may contact you with booking confirmations and occasional offers.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by informing our staff.
9. Safety & Risk Acknowledgement
By signing our disclaimer on the day, you:
Confirm that you understand the risks involved and accept full responsibility for your participation.
Agree to follow all safety instructions given by our staff.
Acknowledge that Madrenaline Activities Ltd will not be held liable for injury, death, or loss arising from participation, except where required by law.
