Have you ever wanted to throw real axes like a true warrior? Now’s your chance to step into the wild and experience the raw thrill of axe throwing at Madrenaline Activity Centre! It’s an adrenaline-pumping session where you’ll test your skill, strength, and focus – and have an absolute blast doing it.
Get ready for a full hour of action on our purpose-built outdoor course, flinging double-headed Flying Angels and Native American tomahawks at huge wooden targets. Whether you're a total beginner or a hidden Viking champion, we’ll help you find your inner axe master.
What Happens on the Day
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly instructors who’ll give a short but important safety briefing. These are real axes – sharp, heavy, and powerful – so we’ll make sure everyone knows how to throw safely and confidently before the fun begins.
We’ll start you off with the impressive Flying Angels – double-headed axes that spin beautifully through the air. Your instructor will show you the right stance, grip, and throwing technique, then it’s your turn to hit the targets.
Once you've nailed a few throws and found your rhythm, it’s time to take on the tomahawks – smaller, faster, and a bit trickier to master. With some expert tips and encouragement from your instructor, you'll soon be striking bullseyes like a pro.
Who Can Take Part
Axe throwing is suitable for ages 12 and over, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No experience is needed – just come with a sense of adventure and a willingness to try something epic. We provide all the gear and guidance you need.
(Viking fancy dress is completely optional… but highly encouraged if you really want to get into the spirit!)
